National Labrador Retriever Breed Council

Welcome to the website of the National Labrador Retriever Breed Council of Australia.

The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council is formed under the regulations of the Australian National Kennel Council,  and is an organisation formed for the sole purpose of promoting an interest in, or the improvement and development of a specific breed of dog, and/or varieties of that breed, may apply for registration with the ANKC, through the National Breed Councils Liaison Committee.

Only one [1] National Breed Council shall be registered for each breed of dog, and that National Breed Council must accommodate all varieties of that breed, recognised by the ANKC (05/99)

The Membership of a National Breed Council must be comprised of at least three (3) Specialised Breed Clubs, each affiliated with a separate Member Body of the ANKC.  The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council is comprised of the Labrador Retriever Clubs of South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.
